OPPO Reno 3 5G and Reno 3 Pro 5G phones are expected to launch in the coming month. OPPO VP Brian Shen took to Twitter yesterday to tease the slimness of the Reno 3 Pro 5G smartphone. Today, Shen has revealed the battery size of the phone.

The Reno 3 Pro 5G is a very thin device that measures only 7.7mm in thickness. Despite featuring a slim chassis, the phone will be housing a larger battery of 4,025mAh capacity. It could be coming with support for fast charging technology.

The executive has also tweeted that the Reno 3 Pro 5G is a dual-mode 5G supporting smartphone. The rest of the specifications of the phone are currently under the wraps. The only other official information that is known about the phone is that it features a curved screen and it will be thee first phone to arrive with the all new ColorOS 7 UI.

A recent leak had claimed that the OPPO Reno 3 would be arriving with a punch-hole display. This means that the company will be ditching the notch-less display design of the OPPO Reno 2 that came with a shark-fin shaped pop-up camera system.

Rumors surrounding the phone have claimed that the Reno 3 5G could be the first phone to feature the Snapdragon 735 5G mobile platform that is expected to go official soon. Hopefully, the smartphone will appear on the database of China’s TENAA regulatory body

The launch date of the phone is currently a secret, but the Chinese firm is expected to confirm on it soon. Most of the 5G phones that are available in China are flagship devices. The upcoming phones such as the Reno 3 series, Vivo X30 series, Redmi K30 lineup and Realme X50 powered by mid-range chipsets will allow users in China to avail 5G phones with lower prices.
