OPPO also announced that it will launch an unnamed flagship 5G smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform in the first quarter of the coming year. According to OPPO, it will be one of the first companies to do so.

It will be interesting to see who first launches a Snapdragon 865 phone amongst the Chinese smartphone manufacturers. Xiaomi and Meizu are both gunning to be the first but the real winner will be whose phone is available for purchase first and not who announced first.

OPPO says its flagship phone will bring better experiences in camera, gaming, and artificial intelligence with enhanced performance thanks to the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform. It also revealed it plans to announce more 5G products in the future.
