Vivo launched the Vivo V17 in India earlier this month. The device is a mid-range offering that went on sale today on Flipkart, Amazon India, and other offline retail stores. The Vivo V17 that went official in India is different from the phone with the same name that was released in Russia. The Vivo V17 for India has a punch-hole display and a rectangular camera module housing four cameras. It is also equipped with a big-sized battery that supports fast charging. Indian customers are currently entitled to an array of launch offers.
Vivo V17 Specifications and Features
The Vivo V17 sports a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera towards the top right corner. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 675 AIE SoC and it comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, which is further expandable via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Vivo V17 features an L-shaped quad-camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel primary camera with an aperture rating of f/1.8, along with an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. The smartphone also sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Camera aids include super night mode, portrait light effects, HDR, ultra-stable video and more.
The Vivo V17 draws power from a 4,500mAh battery with fast charging. It runs on Android 9.0-based FunTouch OS 9.2. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB Type-C, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone features an in-display fingerprint scanner in terms of security.
Vivo V17 Price, Launch Offers and Availability
The Vivo V17 is priced at Rs. 22,990 (~$324). The company is offering a bundle offer, pairing the Vivo EX710 earbuds worth Rs. 1,999 (~$28) with the Vivo V17. The smartphone is available in three color options including Glacier Ice and Midnight Ocean. As per launch offers, ICICI, HDFC, and Axis Bank Credit cardholders are entitled to 5 percent cashback which is valid till Dec. 31. Customers can also avail no-cost EMI for a maximum tenure of 12-months. Additionally, Jio customers can avail additional benefits worth Rs. 12,000 (~$170) along with online and offline purchases of the Vivo V17.
