The Realme Buds Air is Realme’s first wireless earbuds. It launched in India a few days ago alongside the Realme X2. New info says it will make its way to China next month.

According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the Realme Buds Air will be announced early next month in China alongside the Realme X50 5G smartphone. There are speculations that Realme will announce its first 5G phone on January 5, so the info about the earbuds’ release date checks out.

He adds that the Realme Buds Air will be priced around ¥399 (~$57) which is about the same price it is sold for in India.

The Realme Buds Air has a custom high-performance R1 chip that helps reduce wireless audio latency. It connects via Bluetooth 5.0, has a gaming mode, supports Google Assistant, and has touch controls on the stems. It also has instant auto-connection, wear detection, and dual-microphones to help with noise cancelation.

Realme claims the earbuds have a battery life of 3 hours and goes up to 17 hours with the charging case. The case has a USB Type-C port and also supports 10W wireless charging. The Realme Buds Air comes in white, yellow, and black.
