Huawei has officially unveiled its new innovative venture in China. It is a smart unmanned store located in Wuhan Optics Valley New Development International Center. The store has in stock several types of electronic products owned by Huawei.

The smart unmanned store supports online ordering and on-site purchase. It is equipped with a robot arm that is responsible for taking out the goods. It is understood that Huawei’s smart unmanned retail store does not require personnel to provide supervision. The smart store also provides 24-hour uninterrupted service. Other features of the unmanned store include 24-hour smart storage, robot automatic inventory, smart schedule management, all tailored towards offering seamless unmanned services.

Huawei presently has several offline stores scattered across China. This new unmanned store may be a pilot scheme and is an indication that the company is working on ways to ensure its products are available to customers24/7. We may likely see more of such robot manned stores springing up in several cities across China in the near future.
