It is raining updates for Nokia owners this week. On Monday, HMD Global announced Android 10 is now available for the Nokia 6.1 Plus. Yesterday, it was the turn of the Nokia 7 Plus, and today the update has been announced for the Nokia 6.1 a.k.a. Nokia 6 (2018).

The update is already rolling out to and thanks to a screenshot from one user, we know what the changelog and file size. The update comes in at 1.4GB in size and includes December 2019’s security patch. Full changelog below:

- Gesture navigation – Get around with a swipe and a pull
- Additional controls for privacy and location
- Google Security Patch (2019-12)
The Nokia 6.1 launched in January 2018 first in China before a global release later. It ran Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and later got updated to Android 9 Pie. The phone has a 5.5-inch FHD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 630 with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
There is a single 16MP camera on the back of the phone along with a fingerprint scanner. It also has an 8MP selfie camera, NFC, and packs a 3000mAh battery with support for 18W Quick Charge 3.0.
According to the Android 10 update roadmap, the next devices to get the update are the Nokia 2.2, Nokia 3.1 Plus, Nokia 3.2, and Nokia 4.2. Do note that the update may not arrive in that particular order.
