The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G launched last year with a pretty curved display called Horizon Display. As part of the design changes made because of the screen, Huawei let go of the physical volume buttons and replaced them with a virtual volume rocker that can be controlled from any side of the screen. However, some users have reported issues when using this virtual volume buttons. Huawei has now begun rolling out an update that improves the functionality.

The update is rolling out to users in China and comes as version 10.0.0.196 (C00E190R5P3). It weighs in at 110MB and a rough translation of the changelog says it fixes the issue of the virtual volume control not working in some scenarios.
