Realme was expected to take the wraps off its latest 5G phone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 before it was cancelled due to coronavirus scare. The company was later reported as planning to hold the launch event in Madrid, Spain but the event will be streamed online. The Chinese company has now confirmed that the smartphone will indeed be launched in Spain on February 24. The event will start at 10 AM CET.

As a reminder, the Realme X50 Pro 5G is said to feature a Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has also been confirmed to come with a 90Hz refresh rate. Realme is yet to reveal the battery capacity of the X50 Pro but whatever size it is, you may likely never run out of battery power as the battery can quickly be refilled in just minutes. That is because it is expected to support 60W SuperDart charger.

The Snapdragon 865 SoC will power the phone with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem that enables dual-mode 5G. Providing the interface is an Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0. The X50 Pro 5G will have 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage.
