Huawei unveiled the Enjoy 10e today as the fourth Enjoy series smartphones that includes other smartphones such as Enjoy 10, Enjoy 10S and Enjoy 10 Plus. The Enjoy 10e sports a waterdrop notch screen like the other phones in the lineup. It comes with a large internal storage and a behemoth battery. It has arrived in China with a starting price of 949 Yuan (~$135).
Huawei Enjoy 10e specifications and features
The Huawei Enjoy 10e has 159.07 x 74.08 x 9.04mm and it weighs 185 grams. The smartphone has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel that offers 720 x 1600 pixels HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone delivers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.4 percent.
The Helio P35 octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3GHz powers the Enjoy 10e. The same processor powers other smartphones such as Honor 8A Play, Vivo Y3 and Xiaomi Mi Play. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and it offers users with up to 128 GB of native storage. A microSD card slot is available on the phone for additional storage.
The rear shell of the Huawei Enjoy 10e has a camera module at the top-left corner. It includes a main lens of a 13-megapixel main lens with f/1.8 aperture followed by an LED flash and an f/2.4 aperture 2-megapixel depth sensor. The dual cameras support PDAF and full HD video recording. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also supports 1080p video shooting.
The Enjoy 10e is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which supports only 10W charging. It comes with support for reverse charging. The Android 10 OS comes preloaded on the device along with EMUI 10. It has other features such as dual SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB OTG, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack. It lacks a fingerprint reader.
Huawei Enjoy 10e price and release date
The Enjoy 10e is now up for pre-sales until March 5. The 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage editions of the Enjoy 10e are priced at 999 Yuan (~$143) and 1,199 Yuan (~$171), respectively. During the pre-sale period, buyers can enjoy 51 Yuan (~$7.2) discount which effectively brings down the pricing of the two models to 949 Yuan (~$135) and 1,149 Yuan (~$164). Magic Night Black, Pearl White and Emerald Green are the three color editions of the smartphone.
