Earlier today (12th March 2020), Lu Weibing, the Vice President and General Manager of Xiaomi Group, revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro launch event will include more than just smartphones at the conference.

For those unaware, the Redmi K30 series is the latest flagship from the Xiaomi subsidiary. As of right now, only its 4G and 5G variant of the base Redmi K30 is currently available. And now, the K30 Pro will arrive with improved internal specifications. It will also feature 5G network with SA and NSA dual mode 5G and is expected to also feature a mechanized pop up camera as well. Other flagship features will likely be WiFi 6 support, LPPDR5 memory, and UFS 3.0 storage.

Unfortunately, it is unknown what exactly is planned and what the Chinese tech giant has in store for us. Although, it may take the stage to grow its IoT (internet of things)  portfolio. So alongside the Redmi K30 Pro, new WiFi 6 routers, Redmi Tablet and Redmi bands are also expected. The announcement was made by Lu Weibing on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website. So stay tuned for more updates, which may arrive in the next few days.
