Undergoing 12 military-standard (MIL-STD-810G) quality tests, the recently unveiled rugged smart wearable device is capable of withstanding cold and extreme heat. Housed in a sturdy body, it boasts moisture and corrosion resistance as well.
The Amazfit T-Rex can resist the heat of 70℃, and resist cold of minus 40℃. On top of that, the rugged smartwatch has passed through a staggering 96-hour acid-alkali test and 240-hour damp heat test, making it an ideal companion for sports enthusiasts and adventure junkies who indulge in arduous outdoor activities.
The smartwatch sports a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen that has an “always-on display” function. It offers a high screen resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for added safety.
Integrated with an optical heart rate monitor (PPG), the Amazfit T-Rex features a slew of useful sensors including 3-Axis Acceleration Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor. It adopts the latest Bluetooth 5.0 LE and GPS + GLONASS for more stable connectivity.
The smartwatch works with Android 5.0 devices or later and iOS 10.0 or later. On top of that, it offers 14 sports modes and adopts a 5ATM water-resistant design. It uses BioTracker PPG optical sensor to carry out all-day heart rate monitoring and provide rapid heart rate alerts.
Furthermore, the Amazfit T-Rex is made using high-quality Polymer materials and it draws its juices from a 390mAh battery that lasts 20 days on a single charge.
