At the Samsung Galaxy S20 series launch event in February, the manufacturer announced that there will be a Galaxy S20+ 5G Olympic Games Athlete Edition which will be given to all athletes free of charge.

While the International Olympic Committee is yet to decide whether this year’s Olympic Games will be postponed, a live photo of the special edition Galaxy S20+ 5G has surfaced on the web. The image was posted on Weibo and it shows the rear of the phone.

The phone has a gold finish and there is “docomo” written in the middle. You also have “Galaxy” and “Tokyo 2020” printed at the bottom. We expect there will be variants without a network operator’s name printed on the back.

The Galaxy S20 Plus 5G Olympic Games Athlete Edition has the same specifications as the standard variant. It has a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a centered punch-hole for a 10MP camera. There is a Snapdragon 865 processor inside along with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

There is a 64MP + 12MP + 12MP + ToF quad-camera system on the back of the phone. You also get a 4500mAh battery capacity with support for 25W fast charging and 15W wireless fast charging. The phone also supports 9W reverse wireless fast charging.
