The OPPO Reno Ace 2 is the next flagship phone from the company. The company’s Vice President Brian Shen confirmed this morning that the Reno Ace 2 will be debuting in April. A new OPPO phone that has a model number of PDHM00 has been certified by the 3C regulatory body of China. The listing suggest that it could be the upcoming Reno Ace 2 phone.

The PDHM00 was previously spotted at the database of Wi-Fi Alliance. The listing had revealed that it runs on Android 10 OS and it carries support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

The same PDHM00 OPPO phone has now appeared on the 3C authority in China. The listing confirms that it is a 5G-enabled device. The VCA7GACH / VCA7JACH charger carries support for up to 65W fast charger. The OPPO Reno Ace that had debut last year in October featured a 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology. Since the PDHM00 phone could be coming with the same charger as the Reno Ace, it could be the Reno Ace 2 smartphone. The handset is expected to be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.

The Reno Ace 2 live image that had surfaced recently had revealed that it will be flaunting a round-shaped camera module. The predecessor phone features a 48-megapixel vertical camera system. The Reno Ace 2 could be coming with improved quad cameras in its circular camera system.

The front design of the phone is still a mystery. The handset has a USB-C port and a pair of external speakers at its bottom. There is no confirmation on whether the phone features a 3.5mm audio jack.
