Samsung has announced two TWS earbuds this year – the Galaxy Buds+ that launched alongside the Galaxy S20 series and the AKG N400 that was announced recently in South Korea. However, a new leak has revealed a new Galaxy Buds is in development and it may launch later this year at the earliest.

The source of the leak is Winfuture.de and the German tech blog has provided us with our first look at the upcoming earbuds which have a design unlike any we have seen before.
The official name of the upcoming earbuds is unknown but its codename is revealed to be “Bean” which should not be a surprise since it actually does look like a kidney bean. It also has the model number SM-R180. Winfuture.de reports they were able to get their hands on sketches and 3D models of the earbuds.
Based on the renders, the earbuds should provide a secure fit for several users with its bean-like design. It has two speakers with one likely for treble and midrange or low tones. There are also two contact pins for charging and three microphones.

With respect to its release date, we may see it launch alongside the Galaxy Note20 series in August.
