Last year, Oppo introduced Reno series of smartphones which included both mid-range and high-end models. Now, the company has decided to spin-off the high-end Reno Ace phone to be a series of its own by splitting it from Reno branding. Brian Shen Yiren, the company’s Vice President who is also the President of Global Marketing officially announced it on his Weibo profile. The upcoming Oppo Ace 2 is expected to be the first phone under this newly formed series.

Oppo Ace New Series Announcement

In an open letter to fans of Oppo Reno Ace, Mr Shen Yiren said that this phone was a tremendous success among both customers and the company. The Reno Ace was targeted at gamers with a 90Hz refresh display, 65W SuperVOOC fast charging, and high-end performance.

With over 20,000+ feedbacks from the users, the company has managed to fulfill 90% of them. Now, Oppo is taking the Reno Ace to the next level by making it a separate series to concentrate even more on it to deliver what the customers need.
