Xiaomi always keeps introducing new features to MIUI ROM. In a similar move, the MIUI developer has brought the Android 10 Gestures Control Feature for all the compatible Xiaomi smartphones. Xiaomi Developers have stood by their promise of bringing the Android 10 based gestures to Xiaomi smartphones. However, the public build users still have to wait for the feature as it is currently limited to select MIUI China ROMs. The company informed users about the new modification via a blog post which also has clear instructions to enable it.

Xiaomi has ported only a few gestures from Android 10. The users can open the home screen by swiping up from the bottom of the display. Moreover, the Recents menu is available with swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause. The App switching is eased with Swipe left or right from the bottom of the screen. The developers also added Go back gesture that can be enabled by swiping left or right from either edge of the screen.

  1. Open phone Settings and then tap the “Display” option.
  2. Select the “Full-Screen Display” option after scrolling down.
  3. Tap “Full-Screen” to enable Android 10 gestures.
