OnePlus officially launched the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 in a digital event hosted yesterday. Apart from announcing the full specifications, the company also revealed the pricing and availability for the US, UK and Europe but did not announce that of India. But a few hours after the event, OnePlus India official Tweeter handle shared a teaser for the India prices of the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8.

The teaser detailed the company of planning to announce the India price for the series soon. However, that may not be very soon and the wait will likely be worth the while if we are to make some wild guesses from the tweet – ” Good things come to those who w8″. Obviously, the prices will likely be lower than the dollar equivalent and not direct conversions. However, we’ll have to wait for more details.
To recall, the OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8 both come with a hole-punch display notch and have matte-frosted glass protection at the back. The models are powered by a Snapdragon 865 processor with 5G support. The pricing for the OnePlus 8 starts at $899 (roughly Rs. 68,500) while the OnePlus 8 starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 60,800). The models will go on sale in the US on April 29, while their sales will start in the UK and other European regions on April 21. The launch in India will likely be next month after the lockdown ends.
