According to the person that bought the device, the prototype handset reportedly only has three units that can be found in the entire network. This is primarily due to the nature of the smartphone which is technically an unfinished unit. Furthermore, it is claimed that the device features an LCD display with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Xiaomi Comet also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and has a 2,900mAh battery pack. In terms of optics, the smartphone features 12 megapixel primary and a 2 megapixel secondary lens. It is also rated IP68 for water and dust resistance. The person that bought the Xiaomi Comet also shared a couple of images that revealed its design and overall aesthetics.

On the rear, the device features a dual camera setup with an LED flash in between, and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner surrounded by angular designs. Notably, the Xiaomi Comet highly resembles Black Shark gaming smartphones. It could also be a budget gaming device that the company had intended to launch previously. Although that is just speculation at this point. So take it with a grain of salt.
