Earlier today (21st April 2020), Huishoubao, a popular second hand phone dealer in China, released a list for the best resale value for smartphones with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ SoC. In the list, the reseller also added AnTuTu benchmarking stats as well.

For those unaware, Qualcomm released its flagship mobile chipset, Snapdragon 855+ back in the second half of 2019. So in terms of performance, it is very similar in technical prowess with the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC. This flagship chip from 2019 was used in various Android flagships from brands including, Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Realme, OnePlus, Nubia, Asus, Meizu, Black Shark, iQOO, Nubia and more.

The list released by the second hand smartphone dealer arrives in the form of an image that reveals the highest resale value of certain handsets. The company calculated the value by dividing the market price of a smartphone 6 months after its launch by its original selling price at the initial launch. Then, it multiplies it by 100 to get a percentage.

Through this, we can observe that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G ranked first since it had a resale value of 76.10 percent. In other words, despite 6 months have passed, the smartphone saw lower depreciation of its market price. On the second spot, the Black Shark 2 Pro comes in with 72.06 percent while OnePlus 7T arrives third with 70.80 percent.

Other notable models include Meizu 16S Pro (70.17%), Asus ROG Gaming Phone 2 (68.68%), Redmi K20 Pro (66.33%), OnePlus 7T Pro (66.14%), Nubia Red Magic 3S (62.65%), iQOO Pro 5G (61.96%) and more.
