Huawei’s Honor brand took the wraps off the Honor 9X Pro smartphone for the global market in February this year. The company is now likely ready to unveil the smartphone in India three months after. Huawei Honor 9X Pro

A tweet by Honor India had teased the impending launch of a product powered by a Kirin 810 chipset. However, the company is reported to have accidentally posted the name in a tweet that has since been deleted. The company is yet to announce the launch date but a report by IANS points to a May 12 launch and sales on Flipkart.

The Honor 9X Pro features a 6.59-inch IPS LCD display, along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ screen resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the company’s own Kirin 810 octa-core chipset. It equally comes with up to 8GB RAM and maximum storage of 256GB (UFS 2.1). The smartphone packs an impressive 4,000mAh battery.

The Honor 9X Pro starts at 249 Euros for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The model is said to be priced between Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 in India and will come pre-loaded with Huawei AppGallery instead of Google Play Services and Play Store.
