Realme had planned to launch a new Narzo series smartphones in the Indian market in March this year but the event was postponed to April because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the lockdown in India got extended and the event was cancelled.

Today, the company has finally launched the Narzo series smartphones in the Indian market, which includes the Realme Narzo 10 and Realme Narzo 10A.

The Realme Narzo 10, as we expected, is a rebranded model of the Realme 6i which was launched in March as the world’s first smartphone to come powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset.

The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection on top. Under the hood, it packs Helio G80 octa-core processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

It comes with a quad-camera setup on the back that consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome depth sensor. On the front side, there’s a 16-megapixel snapper taking care of the selfies and video calling.

The device comes running Android 10 operating system out-of-the-box with the Realme UI on top. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging technology. Available in “That Blue” and “That White” colors, the phone is priced at ₹11,999 (~$158) and will go on sale in India from 18th May.

The Realme Narzo 10A, on the other hand, is almost similar as Realme C3 that was launched in India in February this year. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution, and Gorilla Glass protection.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC along with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. For taking photos, the smartphone comes with a triple-camera setup on the back that includes a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel portrait lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

On the front side, it comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. There’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a micro-USB port.

This one too runs Android 10 OS with Realme UI and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for Reverse Charging. The smartphone is priced at ₹8,499 (~$112) and will go on sale from 22nd May in India.
