The Huawei Y9s finally launches in India at a price tag of ₹19,990 ($265). It comes in two color variants namely Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal. The handset will be available to purchase exclusively from Amazon India starting May 19. It will be only available for customers living in green and orange zones designated by the government.

The Huawei Y9s debuted in November of 2019 but now it is finally here in India after 6 months. The phone comes powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710F SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage.

On the front, it sports a 6.59-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) IPS LCD panel without any notch or punch hole. The rear of the handset features a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. Further, a 16MP selfie camera resides in a pop-up module at the top.

The phone runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie with GMS (Google Mobile Services) out of the box and gets its energy from a 4,000 mAh battery. Other features of the device include support for microSD card up to 512GB, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, compass, gravity sensor, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port, and 10W charging.

Last but not least, the Huawei Y9s measures 163.1×77.2×8.8mm in dimensions and weighs 206g.
