Last month, Honor launched its flagship Honor 30 smartphone series which includes Honor 30, 30 Pro, and 30 Pro+. The series has been quite popular in China and in its first sale,  the company managed to sell units worth 300 million Yuan ($42m) in just 1 minute.

At the time of launch, Honor 30 was made available in four color options — Black, Silver, Violet, Green and Frost White. Today, the company has announced a new color variant for the Honor 30 — Streamer Illusion which comes with a mirror finish.

It has a gradient-finish on the back with Silvery White color and a lighter shade of Purple. The new color option is now available for reservation in China and will be available for purchase from 19th May at 10:08 AM local time.

Coming to the pricing, the Honor 30 starts at 2,999 yuan (~$425) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage model and goes up to 3,199 yuan (~$453) and 3,499 yuan (~$495) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage models respectively.

As for the specifications, the Honor 30 feature a 6.53-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. There’s a punch-hole cutout on the screen for housing the 32 MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 985 SoC and packs up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. It has a quad-camera setup on the back that consists of a 40MP primary Sony IMX600 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, an 8MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.

The smartphone comes with support for dual-mode 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. It runs the latest Android 10 operating system with the company’s EMUI 10 and Huawei Mobile Services instead of GMS. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast wired charging technology support.
