Recent rumors have suggested that Realme will be holding a launch event this month to announce the Realme X3 series. Today, the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that its upcoming unveil event will be held on May 25 at 2 PM (local time). The Chinese firm also revealed that it will be announcing 8 new products at the event.
The company did not reveal the names of the device that will go official on May 26. The launch poster shared by Realme has some clues on what to expect from the upcoming event. The image includes three items such as a smartphone, a power bank, and truly wireless earbuds. Probably, the main attraction of the event could be the Realme X3 series. The other devices that will be unleashed alongside could be accessory products. The Realme TV may also get announced at the same event.

The Realme X3 lineup is rumored to include three handsets namely, Realme X3, Realme X3 SuperZoom, and Realme X3 Pro. While the name of the Pro model is not confirmed, the monikers of the other two phones were spotted on Realme India’s official website. The major highlight of the Realme X3 SuperZoom will be its periscope zoom lens that will let users to capture images with 60x digital zoom. The handset is said to be capable of shooting shots of the Milky Way.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 855+ chipset and up to 12 GB of RAM. The phone may come with a 4,200mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The other details of the smartphone are not known yet.
The Realme X3 Pro is expected to break cover as the last Snapdragon 865 SoC powered smartphone in the first half of 2020. It is said to be a gaming smartphone. The handset has reportedly received 3C certification in China. The 3C listing has suggested that the phone may ship with a 65W fast charger.
