Honor has officially announced the MagicBook Pro 2020 at the brand’s Smart Life Product Launch event held in China today. This laptop was already listed on Jingdong (JD.com) last week revealing some of its specifications.

Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Specifications

The new Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 sports a similarly sized 16.1-inch IPS LCD display as the 2019 model. However, the bezels are now reduced to 4.9mm to offer a 90% screen to body ratio. The panel also boasts a 100% sRGB color gamut.

Surprisingly, the brand did not mention the screen resolution, which means it is probably still 1920×1080 pixels as the last year’s model. Anyway, it is TÜV Rheinland-certified for no strobing and low blue light emission.

Further, the new laptop from Honor comes in two processor configurations – 10th Gen Intel Core i5 and Core i7 respectively paired with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The notebook also features a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 comes with a pop-up web camera placed in the function keys row like high-end Huawei laptops. It also features software tweaks like multi-screen collaboration to mirror and control supported smartphones on the notebook. Users can also share files between them seamlessly just like Apple’s AirDrop.

Honor has also included a new performance mode in this laptop, which can be activated via shortcut Function (Fn) key + P. The notebook’s CPU and rendering performances are increased by 8% and 15% respectively in this mode.
