After the launch conference of the Honor X10 yesterday (20th May 2020), Zhao Ming, President of Honor’s Busines Unit, stated in an interview that that company will launch other smartphone models in their new X series, which may be the X10 Pro or X10 Plus.

The senior official accepted interviews online after the announcement and made certain interesting statements as well. When talking more in depth regarding the X series and Play series of smartphones, Zhao said that the update cycle related to both the X series and Play series is already decided. He cleared out that the X series is completely different from the Honor 9X and 9X Pro, with the “X” moniker being on the front suggesting that.

Furthermore, this new lineup starting from the Honor X10 will soon be joined by other models in the smartphone family. Rather, a similar strategy is being considered for the Honor V series, N series, and Play series as well. Zhao Ming hinted at a possible existence and future launch of the X10 Pro or X10 Plus by giving an example of the Play 4T and Play 4T Pro. In other words, confirming the existence of a more premium entry that will launch at a later date.
