Chinese brand Coolpad has launched a new smartphone called COOL 10 in the home market. It is the company’s first smartphone of the year for China. The handset comes with attractive features like contemporary design, tall aspect ratio display, big battery, triple rear camera, and a price tag of 899 Yuan (~$126).
Coolpad COOL 10 specifications
The Coolpad COOL 10 has 165.7 x 76.6 x 9.1mm and it weighs 202.8 grams. The handset is equipped with a 19:9 aspect ratio supporting 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen. The waterdrop notch on the screen is the home for its 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear side of the Coolpad COOL 10 has a 3D curved design. The polycarbonate rear with glossy appeal has a rectangle-shaped camera module at its upper-left corner. It has a 16-megapixel main lens and offers users with 4x digital zoom.
The modest MediaTek Helio P30 chipset (MT6758) SoC powers the device with 6 GB of RAM. The phone offers users with 128 GB of built-in storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot.
The COOL 10 has a big battery of 4,900mAh capacity that can be charged through USB-C. The phone carries support for face unlock and it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

The COOL 10 has landed in China with a price tag of 899 Yuan (~$126). Currently, it is up for pre-sale on JD.com and its shipments are expected to begin on June 12. Glazed Black, Charm Blue, and Ying Beibai White are three color variants of the COOL 10.
