Google quietly announced Android 11 Beta today. Unfortunately, the list of devices that are eligible for the beta is yet to be released. Nevertheless, we now know two non-Pixel phones that will get it.

According to a tweet by Mishaal Rahman, the editor-in-chief of XDA-Developers, OPPO confirmed to him that the Find X2 and the Find X2 Pro will get the beta later this month.

This should be good news for owners of the two flagships as they will be able to get a taste of what Android 11 has to offer ahead of other devices. Last year, the OPPO Reno was one of the devices eligible for Android Q beta.

We expect more manufacturers will announce which of their devices will also get Android 11 beta in the coming days or weeks. The manufacturers that were part of the beta program last year include ASUS, Nokia, Huawei, LG, OnePlus, Realme, Sony, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

Android 11 is said to focus on People, Controls, and Privacy. Some of the features it brings include One-Time Permissions, Permissions Auto-Reset, a revamped media control, and an improved Voice Access that lets you easily control your device with just your voice.

The video above by The Verge’s Executive Editor, Dieter Bohn, shows Voice Access in action. Pretty neat, right?
