The Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro are successors of the Redmi Note 8 and note 8 Pro which heralded the market last year and raked in good revenue for the Chinese tech giant. For the Indonesian market, pricing starts at RP 2,399,000 (~$170) for the 4GB+64GB variant. The 6GB+128GB variant adopts a retail price of RP 2,799,000 (~$199).

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 6GB+64GB variant costs RP3,399,000 (~$241) and the 8GB+128GB variant retails for RP3,799,000 (~$270).Redmi Note 9

The Redmi Note 9 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and sports a 6.53-inch FHD+ DotDisplay with Gorilla Glass 5 and splash-proof nano-coating. The display houses a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen for the selfie camera

As the rear, you get a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48MP f/1.79 with 4-in-1 Super Pixel, an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle with a 118° viewing angle, a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor, and a 2MP Macro Camera. Up in front is a 13MP sensor with support for Face Unlock. Xiaomi ships the Redmi Note 9 with a bunch of cool camera features including a kaleidoscope effect, document scanner, night mode, and portrait mode (on both sides).

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 9 Pro features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that offers Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage.

At the rear aspect sits a quad-camera setup which includes a 48-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The device crams a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
