Xiaomi announced the Mi Band 5 earlier today and it is its best smartband it has made, at least based on its specs and design. With a price tag of ¥189/~$27 (¥229/~$32 for the NFC version), it is also pretty affordable. However, if your budget is a bit lower, you can grab the Mi Band 4 which has now received an official price cut.

Starting today, the Mi Band 4 standard edition will sell for ¥149 (~$21) while the NFC version will sell for ¥179 (~$25). Both used to sell for ¥169 (~$24) and ¥229 (~$32) respectively. Of course, these are the official prices, so third-party sellers may not cut down theirs immediately.

The Mi Band 4 is still a good buy if you want an inexpensive fitness tracker. It has a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with a 240 x 120 resolution. The screen is covered with 2.5D glass and there are dozens of watch faces to choose from. The band is water-resistant up to 50 meters, has a heart rate sensor and supports 6 sports modes.

Other features include notification alerts, sedentary reminders, music playback control, and the ability to unlock your Windows computer. You can read our review to know how well it works.
