Samsung is doing something different with the Galaxy Tab S series this year. Alongside the standard Galaxy Tab S7, there will also be a Galaxy Tab S7+. Our guess is that it is going the Apple way by launching two different sizes for its flagship tablet line. So the Plus should be bigger and may also pack more features than the standard edition.

A leak has revealed one feature that will be common to both variants and that is a display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is another area where Samsung is borrowing a leaf from Apple’s 2020 iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 12. Both tablets have a 120Hz refresh rate.

The info comes from the trusted leaker Ice Universe (@UniverseIce).

While Samsung is coming late to the party with a high-refresh rate for its flagship tablets, it gets the upper hand as the displays will be AMOLED panels unlike those of the iPad Pro series which are LCD panels.

The Galaxy Tab S7 will come with dual rear cameras, stereo speakers, and a USB Type-C port. It is expected to have a Snapdragon 865 processor under its hood and should be available in Wi-Fi and 5G versions. The tablet should also run Android 10 out of the box and come with an S Pen.

Samsung is expected to announce the new tablets in early August.
