LG‘s latest premium smartphone, the LG Velvet was first unveiled in South Korea around the early part of May 2020. The company has now launched the Velvet 5G in Europe. The smartphone is already up for pre-order on LG’s official online store in Italy. Also. it is expected to be available in Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Spain. LG Velvet featured

The Velvet 5G carries a retail price of  €650 but what obviously stands out is loads of goodies worth €400 available to those who pre-order the phone. Those who pre-order the phone before the end of the month will get the LG Dual Screen accessory, LG Tone Free TWS earbuds and a protective cover for the phone.LG Velvet

The Velvet 5G features a 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixel and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The display utilises a waterdrop notch that is home to a 16MP camera. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform which brings 5G support with its built-in modem. There is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage that can be expanded to up to an extra 2TB via the MicroSD card slot.LG Velvet IP68 rating

At the rear, the phone sports a pretty nice triple rear camera design that mimics a falling raindrop. The camera setup includes a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.

The smartphone will be launching soon in North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. However, LG might launch the rumoured 4G version in some of the regions.
