The ASUS ROG Phone 3 recently appeared on TENAA with its entire specifications and images. Rumors surrounding it have claimed that the Taiwanese manufacturer may announce it in July. Today, the company released an official confirmation on Weibo that the ROG Phone 3 will go official next month.

ROG Phone 3 customization The predecessor ASUS ROG Phone 2 smartphone was made official on July 22. While the company has confirmed the July launch for the ROG Phone 3, the exact launch date remains under wraps for now. The handset will be rivaling with the Lenovo’s Legion gaming phone that is also set to debut next month. The Chinese firm is yet to confirm its launch date.

Like the predecessor, the ROG Phone 3 will arrive with gaming optimizations from Tencent in China. The Chinese firm will focus on improving the hardware performance of the device for gaming content.

The ASUS ROG Phone 3 has an AMOLED display of 6.59 inches. It produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display may support up to 144Hz refresh rate and it is integrated with a fingerprint sensor. The Android 10 OS along with the latest edition of ROG UI will run on the device.

It could be the first phone to arrive with a rumored Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform. It may come in RAM variants like 8 GB, 12 GB, and 16 GB and storage editions such as 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The device houses a 6,000mA battery and it is likely to support 30W fast charging. For selfies, it has a 13-megapixel front camera and there is a rear-facing triple camera system that is pioneered by a 64-megapixel lens.
