Realme says the update is rolling out in stages, so not everyone will get it today. Once there are no critical bugs, a wider rollout will begin.

The manufacturer has also listed some common issues folks may experience after updating such as longer boot time after the update is done installing and slight hanging and faster battery depletion. Realme says the device should return to normal after 3 days of usage. Another suggestion is to leave the phone for 5 hours after being fully charged.

The update arrives as version RMX1801EX_11.F.07 and users have to be on version C.31 to receive the update. Some of the new features the update brings are listed below:

  • New UI design
  • New live and artistic wallpapers
  • Navigation gestures
  • Support for animated wallpapers for the lockscreen
  • Focus mode
  • Floating window for screen recording
  • Optimized Game Space
  • Random MAC address generator
  • Optimized camera UI
  • Realme share support now extended to OPPO, Vivo, and Xiaomi
