Xiaomi recently unveiled the Redmi 9 smartphone in markets like Spain, Malaysia, and China. The Redmi 9 handset is a part of a series that includes other devices such as Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C, and Redmi 9C NFC edition. There is no word yet on the arrival of the Redmi 9C models. However, the next Redmi 9 model to go official could be the Redmi 9A phone. Recently, the M2006C3LG Xiaomi phone was spotted at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It is said to be the Redmi 9A phone. A variant of the same smartphone has bagged approval from the 3C authority of China.

The 3C listing of the M2006C3LC Xiaomi Redmi 9A reveals that it is a 4G phone. The handset may ship with an MDY-09-EK charger that supports 10W charging.

The predecessor Redmi 8A came with a big battery of 5,000mAh battery and its retail package included a 10W charger. However, the phone carried support for 18W fast charging through USB-C. Hence, there is a possibility that the Redmi 9A’s retail box may include a 10W charger, but the device may arrive with 18W rapid charging support.
