The Redmi 9A will be made official on June 30 in Malaysia. Xiaomi will be also announcing the Redmi 9C handset alongside it. Ahead of tomorrow’s announcement, the press renders of the Redmi 9A have surfaced to reveal its three color variants.

The Redmi 9A can be seen in three colors like Midnight Grey, Twilight Blue, and Peacock Green. The handset has a polycarbonate body with a single camera with an LED flash on its back. A vertical strip starting from the camera module have a Redmi branding can also be seen on the device.

While Redmi 9A renders claimed that it features a fingerprint scanner, the biometric recognition feature does not seem to be present on it. The device has a waterdrop notch display.

The Redmi 9A has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a front-mounted camera of 5-megapixel. The rear side of the phone has a 13-megapixel camera.

The modest Helio G25 SoC along with 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM powers. The device is expected to arrive with 32 GB of built-in storage. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The Redmi 9A houses a 5,000mAh capacity battery. It is said that its retail package will come with a 10W charger, but the device will support 18W fast charging. In Europe, the handset could be priced between 100 euros (~$112) to 120 euros (~$135). It may sell at a cheaper price in Asian markets.
