Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its new ultra high end TV series that will rival the likes of Samsung, Sony, and LG. The new Xiaomi Master TV series will be launched on 2nd July 2020 and now, it has a few of its specs revealed by a company official.

The Master TV series was recently teased and sports an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate along with gaming features, and Dolby Atmos Audio. However, no further details were divulged. But now, Mr. Pan, a Xiaomi Manager, has revealed certain other specs as well, like HDMI 2.1 support, NFC remote control, Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos, and VRR (variable refresh rate) + ALLM (automatic low latency).

Furthermore, the Xiaomi Master TV series will feature 4K 120Hz OLED panels, 4K 120Hz with MEMC technology, 4K 120Hz VRR, and 4K 120Hz signal input as well. Under the hood, a quad core A73 custom processor powers the device, which supports all HDR formats with an emphasis on true HDR.

Lei Jun, Xiaomi Founder, had also stated that the upcoming flagship TV will offer brighter and richer colors, higher contrast image quality, and overall improved audio and video output. Unfortunately, other finer details like display size or pricing are currently unknown and we will have to wait for the 2nd July launch conference, so stay tuned.
