Honor had announced back in June 2020 that it would be launching a gaming laptop within this year. Now, a new report suggests that the gaming notebook may be launched as soon as July.

According to a blogger on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, the gaming laptop from Honor could arrive by August or even July at the earliest. Furthermore, the blogger (@长安数码君) also said that Huawei will follow up with its own launch not too long after Honor’s laptops are released. At the moment, Honor generally offers lightweight and thin ultrabooks, so the new laptops will mark its official entry into gaming as well.

Thus, we can expect the new laptops to feature Intel 10th Generation H series chips or AMD’s latest 4000 series Ryzen mobile processors. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the design or even specifications of the laptop are currently unknown. Although, a dedicated graphics card will likely be housed within the thin gaming ultrabooks. So stay tuned, as we will be providing more updates when more information is available.
