Jio Glass is a mixed reality glasses. Mixed reality (MR) is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environments and visualizations, where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time. Jio Glass comes with a high-resolution display that let users experience holographic content. The glasses also allows users interact using 3D avatars, and more.

The mixed-reality glasses also features a personalised audio system that supports all the standard audio formats and it works without any external attachments. Users can do holographic video calls with interactive 3D avatars, share presentations in the virtual environment and can also share 3D assets and holograms.Jio Glass

Reliance Jio also announced that the Jio Glass can be used for 3D virtual classrooms and holographic classes can be conducted deploying Jio Mixed Reality Cloud. Connecting the glasses to the cloud is done using a cable that is attached to a smartphone.

On the design side, the glasses weigh 75 grams. It supports more than 25 applications already, and the company says more are expected to be rolled out next year.
