OnePlus Nord launched earlier this week as a mid-range 5G smartphone. The handset received its first software update on the launch day itself. Now, a couple of days later, it is getting another update with build number OxygenOS 10.5.2 carrying July 2020 security patch. It also brings support for OnePlus Buds among others.

The OnePlus Nord is currently only in the hands of media, YouTubers, and influencers. It is yet to go on sale for the first time, which is scheduled for August 5 for all the regions. But the device is already receiving its second software update (via XDA Developers). It’s not that other phones don’t get updates like this but the difference is that this information doesn’t make it to the public.

Having said that, apart from July security patch and OnePlus Buds support, OxygenOS 10.5.2 for OnePlus Nord weighing 143MB adds 90Hz support for Dailyhunt app, brings optimizations for accessing camera with gestures, and more.
