The August 5 Galaxy Unpacked event is not so far away. Samsung is expected to unveil a number of products on that day apart from Galaxy Note 20 series. Two of them are accessories namely Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live. Now, just a few days ahead of their launch, some of their unique features have been revealed, thanks to their plugin apps (companion apps) on Google Play Store.

Galaxy Watch 3 Galaxy Buds Live Features

Samsung has prematurely published the plugin apps of Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live on Play Store. This has resulted in a revelation of features that remained wrapped up until now despite numerous render leaks

Having said that, here are some interesting previously unknown features of South Koren tech giant’s upcoming accessories.

Galaxy Watch 3 Features

The teardown of the Galaxy Watch 3 Plugin app was carried out by Max Weinbach of XDA Developers. He found out new gestures, fall detection, and a plethora of default watch faces.

Talking about gestures first, since the Galaxy Watch 3 will come with a speaker, users will be able to clench and unclench their wrist to accept calls and start conversing. Similarly, they will have an option to decline calls by shaking their hand. Also, the screenshot gesture will be different and it will only require users to press both side buttons instead of holding the button and swiping left at the same time.

The most important and useful feature will be the new “Fall Detection” functionality similar to Apple Watches. When the wearable detects a fall, it will ring for 60 seconds and if the user doesn’t respond, it will text their location and 5 seconds sound recording to their emergency contacts.

Lastly, there will be a total of 47 default watch faces. Apart from these, users will be also able to install other watch faces from the store.

Galaxy Buds Live Features

Just like with the Galaxy Watch 3, the Galaxy Buds Live Plugin app confirms all the previously leaked features (via The Verge). The main highlight of this upcoming TWS will be ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).

The app also has tutorials to pair the herdable to devices along with a short instruction clip on how to wear it. Well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal shared this video on Twitter.

Further, the app confirms support for customizing touch controls and other features like find buds as well as equalizer option to name a few. Last but not least, the Galaxy Buds Live will also able to read notifications aloud to users.
