Samsung’s Aug. 5 Unpacked event is around a week away. The South Korean tech giant is expected to announce several devices including the Galaxy Watch3 smartwatch at the event. The rumor mill has already spilled plenty of information on its specs. Leaked press renders that have appeared in the recent weeks have revealed the appearance of the Watch3. Ahead of the Unpacked event, Winfuture.de has carried a detailed report on the specs of the Galaxy Watch3.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch3 will be available in two variants and color combinations that take a cue from the Galaxy Note20 series. The 45mm Galaxy Watch3 will be available in black and gray colors whereas the 41mm edition will be initially available only in bronze color. The 45mm model has 41 x 42.5 x 11.3mm dimensions and the smaller 41mm variant measures 45 x 46.2 x 11.1mm.

The 45mm edition has a 1.4-inch screen whereas the 41mm model has a 1.2-inch display. Both feature AMOLED screens that produce 360 x 360 pixels. The screen of the Watch3 is protected by Gorilla Glass DX. The Watch 3 comes with rotatable bezels.

The Exynos 9110 chipset powers the Galaxy Watch 3. Both models support Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi. The smartwatch boots to Tizen OS 5.5. The SoC is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The Galaxy Watch 3 offers users with 8 GB of built-in storage. The LTE versions of the Watch3 can be used without pairing it with a smartphone. The device also supports NFC and GPS.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has an IP68 rated and MIL-STD-810G certified chassis.  The 45mm Galaxy Watch3 has a 247mAh battery, while the 41mm Galaxy Watch3 has a 340mAh battery. The smartwatch supports wireless charging. A single charge allows the smartwatch to last for up to 56 hours.

The Galaxy Watch 3 users can take advantage of as many as 39 different sport modes. It will come with support for electrocardiogram (ECG), heart rate tracking, and sleep monitoring. It can also detect increased stress levels.
