A Chinese tipster with a good track record has shared a screenshot of the AnTuTu benchmarks of the upcoming Realme V5 phone. The smartphone is powered by the Dimensity 720 5G chipset that was made official earlier this month. The 310K+ average benchmarking score shows that the performance of the Dimensity 720 powered phone is like Kirin 810 SoC by Huawei.
The Dimensity 720 is MediaTek’s attempt at bringing 5G capabilities to budget-friendly smartphones. Past reports have revealed that the Realme RMX2111 and RMX2112 model numbers belong to the Realme V5 5G phone. On AnTuTu, the Realme V5 recorded 301,380 score.
The score is an average of different performance tests carried out on the Realme V5. In CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests, the Realme V5 scored 96,385, 73,639, 74,302, and 57,054, respectively.
Realme V5 specifications
The Realme V5 will break cover on Aug. 3 in China. Recent reports have revealed that the Realme V5 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ punch-hole display with a 16-megapixel front camera. Its rear has 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad-camera system.
The Realme V5 has a 5,000mAh battery with 30W rapid charging support. The phone is expected to arrive with up 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of native storage, and a microSD card slot. It will run on Android 10 OS. It will be available in colors such as silver, blue, and green.
According to a new leak, the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage edition of the Realme V5 is priced at 1,699 Yuan (~$243). Readers are advised to take the pricing leak with a grain of salt as the image’s authenticity could not be confirmed.
