The OPPO K7 5G phone has gone official discreetly in China. It has arrived to replace the Snapdragon 730G powered OPPO K5 phone from last year. The successor model comes with support for 5G connectivity. With a starting price of 1,999 Yuan (~$286), the OPPO K7 5G comes with some attractive features like a 20:9 aspect ratio screen, a 5G-ready octa-core processor, fast charging support, 48-megapixel quad cameras and 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

The OPPO K7 5G smartphone measures 160.3 x 74.3 x 7.96mm and it weighs 180 grams. The 6.5-inch AMOLED screen of the phone supports 60Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is fitted with an in-display fingerprint reader.
The OPPO K7 5G is yet another phone to arrive with the Snapdragon 765G chipset. The SoC is coupled with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. For more storage, users can add a microSD card to the device. There is a 4,025mAh battery inside the OPPO K7 5G. It supports 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging.

There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front side of the phone. The back panel of the handset has a quad-camera system. It comprises of a 48-megapixel primary lens, a superwide sensor of 8-megapixel, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a depth assist lens of 2-megapixel.
The OPPO K7 5G runs on Android 10 OS along with ColorOS 7 UI. The connectivity features that are available on the OPPO K7 5G are dual SIM slot, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
OPPO K7 5G price and release date
The OPPO K7 5G will go on sale in China on Aug. 11. The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is priced at 2,299 Yuan (~$329) whereas the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage base variant costs 1,999 Yuan (~$286). The handset comes in some attractive color options such as Sea Night (blue), Mystery Black, Flowing Cloud (gradient white), Flow Flame (gradient red), and Perak Lemon (gradient yellow).
