Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has today officially unveiled the Mi Beard Trimmer 1C for the Indian market. The beard trimmer is a cheaper version of the Mi Beard Trimmer which was launched in India in June last year.
The new product adopts a similar design with its predecessor which includes a quad edge design. It also comes with ultra-precise self-sharpening blades with 20 length settings. You also get 60 minutes of usage on a single charge.
The Mi Beard Trimmer 1C self-sharpening blade has 0.5mm precision which ensures accuracy and evenness in the cuts. It also utilises non-scratching teeth which bring more comfort. The kit also includes a beard comb.
The device packs a 600mAh battery which can be fully charged in 2 hours over a micro USB port. A full charge can guarantee up to 60 minutes of usage. There is an LED battery indicator which shows the amount of battery power left. The gadget can be charged using a power bank or laptop. You also get a travel lock function which ensures the trimmer doesn’t get turn on unintentionally.
In a related development, Xiaomi also announced a partnership with a premium men’s grooming essentials brand – The Man Company. The brand has created an exclusive “Your Salon At Home” kit which will have the Mi Trimmer 1C, The Man Company Almond & Thyme Beard Oil and Almond & Thyme Beard Wash. First 500 Mi fans to buy the Trimmer will get 25% off on all products of The Man Company.
As for the price, the Mi Beard Trimmer 1C carries an Rs. 999 (~$13) price tag. The gadget will be on sale from 4 PM IST via Flipkart and Mi.com.
