The OPPO F15 debuted in India in January this year. While OPPO fans expected to see a Pro version, the company only sold the vanilla edition in the country. OPPO is now gearing up to launch a new F-series phone in the country. A fresh teaser released by the company confirms that the name of the device is OPPO F17 Pro and it will be selling with a price of under Rs. 25,000.

The teaser released by the company states that the OPPO F17 Pro will be “the sleekest phone of 2020.” The company has revealed that the F17 Pro is a lightweight smartphone that weighs only 164 grams. Also, its thickness is only 7.48mm.

As can be seen in the teaser image, the phone has a SIM card tray and volume up and down buttons on the left edge. The OPPO F15 had featured a vertical camera module with four cameras inside it. The side of the OPPO F17 Pro gives of two camera sensors. Hence, there is a possibility that the F17 Pro could be featuring a square-shaped camera module with four cameras inside. The disclaimer text at the bottom of the teaser has revealed that it will be costing less than Rs. 25,000.

The Chinese firm is yet to confirm the launch date of the OPPO F17 Pro for India. Tipster Mukul Sharma had claimed recently that OPPO may announce the F17 series in the first week of September. At present, there is no official information available on the specifications of the OPPO F17 Pro. it is unclear whether the company will be also announcing the OPPO F17 vanilla variant with the Pro model.
