If you want a foldable phone that folds vertically, the Galaxy Z Flip is your best bet. Seeing as the Galaxy Fold has gotten a successor, it is no surprise that Samsung is working on one for the Galaxy Z Flip too. While we don’t expect the Galaxy Z Flip 2 to arrive this year, some details have surfaced.

Galaxy Z Flip 5G featured

The Vietnamese leaker, Chun (@chunvn8888) revealed some details of the phone which should launch as the Galaxy Z Flip 2. According to him, he has confirmed that the phone will feature a larger outer display. The Z Flip has a 1.1-inch outer display which is less than half the size of the 2.7-inch outer screen on the Moto Razr 2019 and Moto Razr 5G.

He also revealed the main display will feature a new type of UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) and an upgraded hinge. Another upgrade is the battery capacity which is getting a bump from the 3300mAh inside the Galaxy Z Flip.

The leaker also mentioned some features he is not sure about such as a high refresh rate display. Other details not revealed include the screen size, processor, and camera configuration. We expect more leaks will surface before the launch of the phone. Nevertheless, we advise you to take the info with a grain of salt.
