The Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro smartphones were announced in India at the beginning of this month. Soon after its launch, Realme Indonesia started teasing the arrival of the all-new Realme 7i. Today, the Chinese firm held a launch event in Indonesia to announce Realme 7i and Realme 7 smartphones.
Realme 7i specifications and features
The Realme 7i measures 164.1 x 75.5 x 8.5-8.9mm and it weighs 188 grams. It has an IPS LCD punch-hole display that measures 6.5 inches. The screen supports 720 x 1600 pixels HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone promises a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The display is shielded by Gorilla Glass panel and its rear is made from glossy polycarbonate material.
The Realme 7i has a Sony IMX471 16-megapixel front-facing snapper with f/2/1 aperture. It offers features like portrait mode, beauty mode, HDR, bokeh effect, UIS video stabilization, and 30fps 1080p video recording. The Realme 7 has a quad-camera system on its back. It has a 64-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture with PDAF, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with 119-degree field-of-view and f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel B&W lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with 4cm focal length with f/2.4 aperture. The rear cameras support super nightscape mode, portrait mode, HDR, AI scene recognition, AI scene beauty, cinema mode, UIS / UIS Max video stabilization, and 30fps 1080p video shooting.
The 11nm Snapdragon 662 mobile platform powers the Realme 7i with 8 GB of LPPDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. The Android 10 OS with Realme UI 1.0 skin comes preloaded on the Realme 7i. The 5,000mAh battery of the Realme 7i supports 18W fast charging. The other features available on the Realme 7i are dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, a 3.5mm headphone slot, and a rear-facing fingerprint sensor.

The Realme 7 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD full HD+ punch-hole screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is driven by the Helio G95 chipset, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. It also houses a 5,000mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge support.
The Realme 7 has a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The backside of the phone has a Sony IMX682 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel (119-degree ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth) + 2-megapixel (macro) quad-camera system. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and carries support NFC among other connectivity features. The handset measures 162.3 x 75.4 x 9.4mm and it weighs 196.5 grams.
Realme 7i and Realme 7 pricing and availability
The Realme 7i and Realme 7 are priced at IDR 3,199,000 (~$214) and IDR 3,999,000 (~$268), respectively. The Realme 7 can be bought in color editions such as Misty Blue and Misty White in Indonesia. The Realme 7i is coming to the country in colors like Polar Blue and Aurora Green.
