Umidigi launched a new Rugged Smartphone, Umidigi Bison last month. Now, the company has finally announced the price of the device. It also said that the global sale will begin on October 16th. Additionally, the company’s budget smartphone, Umidigi A7S is open for pre-sale for a special price until September 25th.

Umidigi is one of the very few companies which makes rugged smartphones for outdoor use. The new Umidigi Bison is not just about its looks and durability but has great cameras too. Now that it’s open for global sales, Users can grab the device as early as next month and for the $149.99, this seems a promising choice.
That’s not all as the entry-level Umidigi A7S is open for pre-sale at a special price of $69.99 till September 25th. Both the Umidigi A7S and Umidigi Bison will be available on AliExpress.
Umidigi Bison Specifications
The device is dust, dirt, and sand-proof. It is IP68 and IP69K certified for water-resistance and can withstand thermal steam wash test up to 100 bar of pressure. The Umidigi Bison has a 6.3-inch FHD+ display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and a water-drop notch. It is powered by Mediatek Helio P60 SoC paired with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. The highlight of the device is the quad rear camera setup with a 48MP f/1.79 Sony sensor, 16MP ultra-wide with 120-degree FOV, and two 5MP macro and depth sensors. The front has a 24MP f/2.0 Sony camera sensor for selfies.
Other features include 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging via USB-C port. The device is available in Cyber Yellow and Lava Orange color schemes.

Umidigi A7S Specifications
Umidigi launched the entry-level device a few weeks ago. The new entrant in the A series has a built-in thermometer sensor to measure body temperature without touching each other. while this could be very useful given the current scenario, the device has also got all the likings of a typical smartphone. There is a 6.53-inch HD+ display, Mediatek MT6737 SoC paired with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage, triple rear cameras with 13MP f/1.8 main lens, 8MP 120-degree FOV ultra-wide, 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP f/1.8 sensor at the front for selfies. There is a 4,150mAh battery with 5W charging support.
