Back in March, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 8.3 5G, an upper mid range smartphone with support for the newer and faster bandwidth. Now, 6 months after its initial reveal, the device is finally being rolled out globally.

The Nokia 8.3 5G features a 6.81 inch FHD+ LCD display that has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz high refresh rate panel. Under the hood, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G runs the device along with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. It runs Android 10 out of the box and supports dual SIM cards as well.

For optics, the Nokia 8.3 features a quad camera setup with a 64 megapixel primary sensor alongside a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, 2 megapixel macro camera, and another 2 megapixel depth sensor. On the front, a 24 megapixel selfie shooter is housed while the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side. The device also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and is powered by a large 4,500mAh battery pack that supports up to 18W fast charging.

The Nokia 8.3 5G arrives in Polar Night color and is priced at 599 Euros (roughly 701 Us Dollars) for the base 6GB+64GB variant and 649 Euros (roughly 760 US Dollars) for the 8GB+128GB variant. Furthermore, all Nokia 8.3 5G buyers will receive a free 6 month trial of Google One, with an additional 100GB of online storage.
